How the estimate works

Total clicks = posts × average clicks per post.

New customers = total clicks × free trial or booked call rate × paid conversion rate.

Total revenue = new customers × average monthly product or service price × customer lifetime in months.

Total cost = posts × $1,500. ROI = total revenue ÷ total cost, shown as a multiple such as 2x.

For one-time purchases, use a one-month customer lifetime. Revenue is not profit: delivery costs, taxes and other operating expenses are not included.

Frequently asked questions

What cost per sponsored post does this calculator use?+

The calculator uses an average cost of $1,500 per post. Total campaign cost equals the number of posts multiplied by $1,500.

How are new customers calculated?+

Total clicks equal posts multiplied by average clicks per post. Clicks are multiplied by the free trial or booked call conversion rate, then by the paid conversion rate to estimate new customers.

How is total revenue calculated?+

Estimated new customers are multiplied by the average monthly product or service price and the average customer lifetime in months. For a one-time purchase, use a one-month lifetime.

How is ROI calculated?+

ROI is shown as a multiple: total revenue divided by total post cost. A result of 2x means the campaign is projected to return $2 for every $1 spent on posts. Below 1x means projected revenue is less than the sponsorship cost. Other business costs are not included.

Are these results guaranteed?+

Click counts and conversion rates are based on the past year of data from Cruxfinder sponsored posts, so they are planning inputs rather than guarantees. Actual results depend on your offer, creative, landing page and sales process. We provide guidance and assistance with offer design, copywriting and campaign setup to help you achieve the best performance. Fractional customer estimates are retained in the revenue calculation and rounded for display.
